Very expected game in Vodochody where Slovanka was crushed by Chomutov 77-57. Chomutov made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Slovanka turnovers and outrebounded them 46-35 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Karoline Striplin (190-2003, college: Indiana) nailed 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Eliska Brejchova (182-2003) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds. Chomutov's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Jitka Pilarova (180-2003) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Karolina Hauserova (171-2004) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Slovanka in the defeat. Chomutov will play against Hradec Kralove at home in the next round. Slovanka will have a break next round.
